Welcome! to Laura Ayres Photography

Hello, my name is Laura and I'm an avid equestrian who fell into the world of photography. I actually thought about pursuing a career in art when I was younger, but veterinary medicine took precedence at the time. Growing up in Alaska, I had a career as a licensed veterinary technician, and my horses were my world. Fast forward in life, I made the move to a much warmer climate, with my now husband (whom I met in the veterinary field,) and we have a crazy, beautiful family on our little farm in Moscow, TN.

I've loved art since grade school. Drawing, painting, you name it. When traveling, I always took pictures and seemed to strive for getting that perfect artistic shot. Art is so unique, and I love how it can make you feel so many emotions. Photography really grasped me when my twins were born in 2021. I started out taking photos of their milestones and soon portraits led to ones with equines, and equines led to action shots at horse shows.

Over the years I've been blessed to have fantastic clients and opportunities to pursue this photography passion. My hope, and goals, are to continue to learn and create beautiful memories to have for a lifetime and beyond.
